To provide ideal care in ICUs or hospital wards, sufficient time and manpower is required. However, this may be difficult to achieve especially in busy hospital environments. With that in mind, our desire was to create a bed that can independently support patients, providing another helping hand to medical staff.

PRODUCT FEATURES

Fall Prevention

Low bed height allows patients to place their feet firmly on the floor when sitting on the edge of bed or exiting.

BED EXIT ALARM

BED EXIT ALARM notifies staff when patient sits up, moves to edge of bed, exits the bed or is out of bed beyond a predetermined time limit (1-30 minutes).

Infection Control

We utilize built-in antimicrobial technology to ALiUS bed which is the world’s first hospital bed registered under the SIAA and complied with ISO22196. Comprised of resin, the mattress deck is designed to be easily removed and wiped down.

Early Mobilization

Assist Grip extends 37.5 cm/14.8 inches from bed to provide an additional point of support to the side and the front of the patient to help keep patients safe, stable and balanced when standing.
Paramount Bed’s mobility equipment, such as rehabilitation table, walking aid and IV stand, can be used with ALiUS bed to enhance early patient mobility.

Improve Workflow

Nemuri SCAN™ sensor* utilizes contact-free continuous monitoring to measure sleep state, heart rate and respiratory rate. A notification will sound when there are patient changes. Alerts can prompt early patient assessment and intervention if needed.
