(Headquarters: Koto-ku, Tokyo; President & CEO: Tomohiko Kimura), is proud to announce that its medical transport stretcher, the “K6 Transport Stretcher,” has been honored with the “Good Design Indonesia,” securing a spot in the Top 10 designs and earning the  "Best Design" accolade. Additionally, the product was recognized by “Good Design Award 2025” in Japan. Specifically developed to ensure safer and more efficient patient transportation, the K6 Transport Stretcher has been  praised for its thoughtful design, which integrates safety and efficiency.

The K6 Transport Stretcher is a multifunctional medical transport stretcher designed to support patient transportation and support medical treatment. Its height can be conveniently adjusted using pedals (Hydraulic height adjustment), while the head section angle is smoothly adjustable via a gas spring mechanism. These features are specifically crafted to reduce physical strain on medical professionals by eliminating the need for repetitive bending.
To accommodate the growing trend toward larger patient body sizes, the stretcher includes a urethane foam mattress measuring 205 cm in length, 66 cm in width, and 8 cm in thickness, supporting the consistent provision of care.The stretcher also allows adjustments to the Trendelenburg position, where the lower body is elevated above the head, to support specific medical procedures. Additional key features include side rails made of resin mixed with an antimicrobial agent and ergonomic transport handles, which prioritize safety, hygiene, and comfort, making the stretcher a practical and reliable solution for modern healthcare environments.
This product was developed by PT. Paramount Bed Indonesia, which marked its 30th anniversary since its establishment in 1995. The experience accumulated over its three decades of history have significantly contributed to the design and development of this product.

This stretcher has been highly rated for its user-friendliness; the ergonomically designed multi-directional grip and hydraulic height adjustment allows quick and safe handling. The foldable side rails and large casters are effective for indoor and outdoor movement and enhance stability, facilitating emergency operation. The clean surfaces and antibacterial materials reinforce hygiene, and the well organized structure reduces confusion at the site. This design addresses on-site issues of Indonesia’s healthcare settings, where workforce and facilities are limited, by presenting a design that harmonizes safety and efficiency.
