Raffles Hospital (RH) has been continually replacing the beds in their wards with
Paramount Bed products since 2017. We interviewed the hospital’s Chief Nurse Ms.
Lilian Yew and Nurse Manager Ms. Jaslyn Yeo on their decision to choose Paramount
Bed.

RH strives to provide the best care and medical outcomes for our patients. RH has
been Joint Commission International accredited since 2009. In 2015, we became the
first healthcare organization in Asia to join the Mayo Clinic Care network. About one
third of our patients come from more than 100 countries, including Indonesia, Malaysia,
the Middle East and China. We are dedicated to providing our patients with the best
quality care and the highest patient safety.

We considered three primary factors when choosing new beds and mattresses for RH. These are fall prevention, patient
mobility, and patient comfort. As patients spend most of their time in bed, it is vital that the bed is comfortable and safe. Hence,
choosing the optimal bed and mattress for our patients is extremely important.
